In a RM309.5 million case, the team defended Kapar Energy Ventures, Malaysia’s second largest independent power producer, in a dispute between the insured and the insurers arising from a breakdown of a steam turbine in a power plant. In a cross-border family and probate matter, the team acted for three BVI companies worth £500 million whose ownership was contested in divorce proceedings involving high net worth Malaysians.
